TALLAHASSEE (WTXL) - It's another cool start to the morning with temps dipping into the mid to upper 40s to low 50s across the board. There's also a slight breeze to add an additional bite to the air this morning. High pressure overhead sandwiching against a stalled out frontal system in south Florida is allowing for that breeze which will persist throughout today. It'll be a very similar set up this afternoon to what we saw yesterday with highs in the mid to upper 70s. Heading through the work week, temps will start to moderate more towards the average with overnight temps dipping into the mid 50s while in the afternoon temps get to around 80°. Starting midweek, we could see a rogue afternoon shower, especially for our eastern counties, but rain coverage will be sparse at best. This is courtesy of winds starting to flow from the Atlantic shoreline ushering in some moisture. By the weekend, overnight temps will be in the low to mid 60s while afternoon highs will be slightly above average in the mid 80s as high pressure loses its grip over the region.
