Today will start the transition period to a much wetter and slightly cooler period.
This afternoon won't be quite as hot as yesterday but most areas will still see the lower to mid 90s. Storms come later this afternoon especially in the northwestern portions of the viewing area.
Another warm, muggy, August evening in store for us with lows only falling into the lower to mid 70s.
Rainy pattern starts tomorrow and sticks around all week and continues into the weekend.
