and last updated

High Pressure over the Mid Atlantic will continue to give us pleasant conditions for this afternoon, with mostly sunny skies and a high of 78. As the ridge breaks down and slides to the east on Tuesday, we will still squeeze out one more decent day here with partly cloudy skies and another day with temps in the upper 70’s. A strong cold front will move through Tuesday evening and bring us some of the coldest weather yet this season. Some cold arctic air will filter into the region on Wednesday and Thursday. Waking up Wednesday morning temps will be in the low to mid 40’s and out high may not even reach the 60 degree mark. Thursday morning will be even colder with lows dropping to the mid 30’s and highs only topping out in the mid 60’s. Rain will pop back into our region for the eastern counties on Thursday; rain chances are less than 20 percent. By Friday temps will slowly start to bounce back to average, but skies will turn overcast in the evening as rain moves into the region. Saturday and Sunday look mostly cloudy with light and scattered showers and high temps slowly getting warmer and reaching the upper 70’s by Sunday afternoon.

Happy Monday and Happy Veteran’s Day!
