More summer weather is expected today, with steamy, muggy conditions throughout the afternoon. Morning lows were in the low 70s, and highs will reach the lower 90s; from the coast to inland. A cold front lies just to the north of the local viewing area, and is exiting the east coast of Georgia. What that will do to our weather is make it a little easier to see some rainfall, mostly due to the warm gulf moisture pushed inland by the sea breeze. The cold front and winds coming from the south will bring some gulf moisture and increase our rain chances to 40% today. Some scattered afternoon storms are possible, and if you only experience a sprinkle, the air may feel more muggy than before. Overnight lows will be in the low 70s all week, and afternoon highs will peak around 90 each day, with a 30-40% chance of rain for the next seven days. The rain is nothing to cancel plans over, but it's a good idea to keep an umbrella around.
