MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- The heat continues on for Monday, but the rain coverage will be on the increase starting Monday as well. A slow moving cold front to the west will move into the region for the first half of the work week and that will help to spark more instability to support showers and storms for the next few afternoons.
Daytime highs Monday will likely reach the upper 80s to lower 90s with rain coverage around 30%. The highest of the rain coverage should be west in the early afternoon. As we advance into Monday night/ Tuesday morning, lows will likely be mild (upper 60s to near 70 degrees.) Tuesday afternoon is forecast to feature more clouds and rain (40%) which can help support high temperatures returning to a seasonal level (mid to upper 80s). Tuesday night lows will likely dip into the upper 60s.
After midweek, temps begin to stay around seasonal levels with high pressure helping to clear things off. Rain chances will be minimal, but the weekend may feature more rainfall...
