Morning lows fell well into the 20s and 30s Monday but we’re warming up!...slightly. A ridge of high pressure will slide east and center itself right over us this afternoon. That means a sunny, calm but cool day for you with highs in the low 60s. Tonight, a few more clouds pass by with lows in the low 40s. Our next rain maker gets closer to us throughout the day Tuesday as an area of lower pressure gathers to our west but the rain waits until late. Much of Tuesday will be dry with highs in the low 70s and off and on clouds. Tuesday night and Wednesday morning we’ll work a cold front through the area bringing with it a line of showers and thunderstorms. This is a quick mover with limited moisture so severe weather and an additional flood risk aren’t concerns. The front will quickly exit by midday Wednesday with cold air filling in behind it. Highs Wednesday won’t get out of the 50s with lows Thursday morning flirting with freezing. The atmosphere will rebound quickly; we’ll be in the low 70s with tons of sun Friday and the weekend.
Be safe and try to have a warm Monday!
