MIDWAY, Fl. (WTXL) -- A cold front moving in from the northwest can help spark thunderstorms for the next few days. Specifically, for Monday, rain coverage is around 50% with storms likely firing up in the afternoon when the sun can help heat up the surface. Daytime highs are forecast to reach the lower 90s with partly to mostly cloudy skies. Overnight lows into Tuesday morning are expected to fall to the lower 70s.

Tuesday and Wednesday, the storm chance may increase further (40-60%) with daytime highs at or below 90 degrees.

After midweek, a Fall cool down is likely to move in. Winds will turn from the north and that will alter the temperatures significantly. Morning lows may fall to near 60 degrees with highs in the mid 80s.
