TALLAHASSEE (WTXL) - One final gloomy, cool, and breezy day before the weather pattern changes for most of this work week and this upcoming weekend. An area of low pressure sticks close by off the coast of Georgia allowing for wrap-around moisture to spin into the region allowing for thick low-level clouds and periods of fine mist to persist. We'll also incorporate slightly breezier conditions outside which will keep the cooler than average feel around. Temps today start off in the mid to upper 60s and will only get to the low to mid 70s for highs. As that low lifts to the northwest, a high pressure system will advance into the Mid-South to clear the skies out which will boost temps. Overnight, we'll dip into the mid 60s but by the afternoon, low 80s return to the picture as brighter conditions return. Expect mostly sunny skies for your midweek through the end of the work week as the high pressure area will be the main influencing feature. This will allow for a wider temp spread with low 60s and upper 50s in the morning by Wednesday, and daytime highs back into the 80s, but it'll still be dry and still have a fall-ish feel. By Friday and this weekend, we'll fire up a few isolated storm chances, but they'll be sparse in nature with overnight temps in the mid 60s and daytime highs in the mid 80s.
