Most of this week will be quiet in the weather world, the biggest change will be how sticky it is. Memorial Day is looking just fine with plenty of sun through the heart of the afternoon. Highs will dance around 90° inland while staying in the 80s at the coast. Beach goers and mariners; winds will gradually pick up and be off the water this afternoon but will stay on the lighter side around 10 knots. The rip current risk today will be low but tomorrow, winds pick up and the risk will be moderate. High pressure centered off the east coast will move little through Friday leaving us on its western side. You care about that because it keeps our wind coming from the south steadily increasing mugginess all week while temperatures keep going up. By Wednesday at the earliest we'll be dealing with thick air you can wear with dew points in the upper 60s. Rain for the next week will be hard to come by but isolated thunderstorms will start popping by Thursday.
