TALLAHASSEE (WTXL) - A cool start to the work week with temps diving into the mid 50s widespread. High pressure overhead allows all the heat to escape into the atmosphere allowing for widespread cooling. Patchy dense fog is also expected heading out the door, so keep the low beams on if you encounter some of that fogginess. That'll burn off by mid-morning yielding mostly sunny skies allowing for temps to quickly jump to the low 80s by this afternoon. Overnight, we'll be slightly milder with temps dipping into the upper 50s. Expect mid 80s for highs Tuesday afternoon with a few isolated late day showers possible, mainly back towards the Tri-State region. That's our next cold front passing us by, which will be mainly dry for most of us. This will reinforce to seasonable trend with overnight temps by Wednesday still comfortable near 60°. Highs for your midweek will be in the mid 80s. Expect low to mid 50s for overnight temps to round out the work week and even for this upcoming weekend. Highs will be back in the low to mid 80s, but humidity will still be quite low.
