A drier pattern will be in place today and for the next couple of days. After a warm start, temperatures will heat up into the mid 90s. The drier air will limit cloud cover and also lower rain chances. There will only be a 30% chance of rain this afternoon, most likely after 2 PM. The showers and isolated thunderstorms could produce locally heavy downpours, but the rainfall should be short-lived and most of it will dissipate after sunset. Tuesday and Wednesday will be similar to today, but rain chances will increase back to 40% to 50% by Thursday. More cloud cover and rain will keep afternoon temperatures in the low 90s for the latter part of the week.
