TALLAHASSEE (WTXL) - We are drying off and heating up heading into this afternoon. Temps will be sweltering back into the mid 90s as we see more sunshine on a hot June day. Due to high pressure remaining mostly in control, stormy activity will remain rather limited, however I think we could see a few storms pop up in the Big Bend and Suwannee River Valley by mid-afternoon, however they will be short-lived and weaker than what we saw this weekend--basically, the severe weather threat is lessening as we're seeing a drier pattern at hand. Overnight lows dip down into the low 70s staying rather muggy once again. Tomorrow, we see much of the same with temps rebounding into the low to mid 90s and some sparse storms by the afternoon and evening hours. By midweek, we'll see more widespread storminess and will hold onto that unsettled pattern heading into the weekend.
