TALLAHASSEE (WTXL) --  An area of high pressure off the coast of North Carolina will keep winds coming out of the south-southeast today with warm afternoon temperatures in the upper 70s. Tuesday a cold front will begin approaching the region which will create pockets of rain Tuesday night into Wednesday morning. Afternoon highs for those days will be in the upper 70s and morning lows in the upper 50s and lower 60s. Areas of rain may linger into Wednesday as well with a 40% coverage for rain. Behind the cold front high pressure will build in meaning drier conditions expected. Thursday-Saturday lows will range from the upper 40s to mid 50s and highs will remain warm in the upper 70s and low 80s.
