Storm Team Monday Morning Forecast (12/30/13)

As we start to wrap up the final days of 2013, we have some pleasant weather in our forecast. Today should be mostly sunny, there’s less than a 20% chance of rain across the forecast region for today. We will also feel temps rise into the mid 60’s in the afternoon. New Years Eve will be mainly dry. A secondary cold front will push through the region, we may get a few sprinkles after midnight, but during the day we will see mostly sunny to partly sunny skies with a high of 63 degrees. The chance for rain will go up on New Years Day. Wednesday will turn mostly cloudy in the afternoon with the slight chance for showers and a high of 61. Thursday will be cloudy with showers and a high of 63. A strong cold front will move across the area Thursday and really cool things down for Friday.  As we head into Friday afternoon, conditions will be sunny and cool with highs only topping out in the upper 50’s. Morning lows on Saturday will also be very cold dropping to the low 30’s. In the afternoon we will see partly sunny skies with a high of 60. Sunday looks partly sunny, with less than a 20% chance of rain and a mild high of 68 degrees.
