MIDWAY, Fl. (WTXL) -- A very slow-moving cold front is drifting through the Big Bend and South Georgia today, bringing rain and cooler air with it. Typically, once a cold front passes, skies clear, but lingering cloud cover and moisture will exist behind it, meaning that most of Monday will continue to stay cloudy and gloomy. In addition, cooler temperatures will filter in behind this front, with highs today struggling to reach 60 degrees. Rain coverage will be around 30-40% today, falling off on Tuesday.
Tuesday will feature morning lows in the lower 50s, afternoon highs near 60 degrees, and low rain coverage (20%.) Cloudy skies will continue through Tuesday as well.
Wednesday will clear off slightly, with partly cloudy skies and highs in the mid 60s.
Another front is expected to move in beyond Wednesday, but rain coverage so far is looking minimal to near zero.
