We’re under a slight risk for severe weather today. Strong storms will be moving through the region during the late morning and afternoon hours. We can expect to see some heavy rain, flooding is possible in some areas. We also have the potential to see an isolated tornado with some of the strong storms. Damaging winds are also a concern; the threat for hail this afternoon is minimal. Showers and storms will stay with us this evening and even through Tuesday for some of the day. We clear out and cool down by Wednesday; high temps will only reach 71, with some windy conditions. Dry conditions will stay with us till Sunday with temps slowly climbing back into the 80s.
