TALLAHASSEE (WTXL) - Ample rainfall is expected heading into the next couple of days. A stalled out frontal system blanketing the region will funnel in more moisture from the Gulf and will allow for widespread storms and downpours beginning around lunchtime lingering into the evening hours. Isolated flooding is a possibility with some of these storms especially for folks south of U.S. 84. Because of the ample moisture, temps will remain near normal in the low 90s for highs and remain muggy overnight bottoming out in the low 70s. This same set up sticks around for Tuesday before another, quick moving front digs into the Deep South pushing away a lot of our rain chances. Because we'll get into the cooler, drier side of this front, we can expect our first taste of fall heading into the latter portions of the forecast! Highs late week struggle to get into the upper 80s and lows will be comfy cool in the upper 60s.
