TALLAHASSEE (WTXL) - After a soggy end to last work week and the first half of the weekend, quiet conditions return for the bulk of the work week. High pressure overhead allows for a cool, clear start to the day with temps dipping into the upper 40s and low 50s. Plenty of sunshine will quickly warm highs to the low to mid 80s. Expect this cool morning, warm afternoon trned to persist for most of this week with low 50s through Thursday and daytime highs soaring into the low and mid 80s. A slow moving cold front drenching the Central Plains and Texas will advance into the southeast by the end of the work week allowing for scattered showers and a few storms possible by Friday. Temps will range from 60° in the morning t the low 80s in the afternoon. We'll quickly clear out and transition into a quiet weekend with 50s in the morning and low to mid 80s again in the afternoon.
