We start Monday morning with temperatures around 40° and a partly to mostly cloudy sky. The exception is the southeastern Big Bend where a constant stream of clouds is keeping Perry closer to 50° before sunrise. This afternoon, everything evens out as we all make a push near 70° with off and on sunshine and a zero rain chance. A cold front is draped to our north this morning, but it’s a dry one, there’s no rain with it. It’s special because it is the leading edge of the coldest air of the season. Many of us won’t get out of the 50s Tuesday and Wednesday, but it’ll be sunny. The cold air will bite hardest in the morning with lows early Wednesday in the upper 20s and low 30s. The big time cold will be short lived around here; we’ll be back near 70° by Friday but it comes with a chance at showers Friday night and Saturday morning. Stay tuned!
Be safe and have a great Monday!
