TALLAHASSEE (WTXL) - The coldest air of the season has descended upon the region with temps diving into the upper 30s. This afternoon, it'll be cool and breezy with highs barely skimming 60°. Overnight, winds slack off as high pressure builds overhead, and it'll remain chilly to start the day. Temps will bottom out in the low to mid 30s and light frost is expected away from cities and away from the coast. Bring in or cover your sensitive plants. Mid 60s for highs can be expected. More sunshine sticks with us heading towards Thanksgiving. We'll start to warm back up as well with overnight temps in the 40s by Wednesday and afternoon highs around 70°. Thanksgiving looks quite seasonable and comfortable with temps in the 50s to start and mid 70s by the afternoon. Expect that mild trend to last into the end of the holiday weekend as well.
