Storm Team Monday morning forecast (4/22/2013)

Posted

Dry air and a departing weak system will try to eat away at our stubborn cloud deck with a small degree of success this afternoon. There may be 1 or 2 light showers around I-75 but most of us are done with rain out of this system. Meanwhile, thanks to the cloudiness, temperatures will struggle to get into the low 70s with a swift northeast wind gusting near 25mph. High pressure takes full command Tuesday and Wednesday; expect lots of sun, low humidity and plenty of warmth as highs hit the low 80s. The end of the week is looking slightly unsettled at the very worst; a few showers or thunderstorms will be possible Thursday to Monday. At this point it doesn’t look like anything too dangerous, just enough for some wiper action. Highs will stick in the low 80s with lows near 60° through the long term.

Be safe and have a great Monday!
