Storm Team Monday morning forecast (09/30/13)

Today begins a transition to a warmer and moister period, with the forecast featuring higher rain chances and increasing high temperatures. A high pressure system situated to our north over the Carolinas is bringing in easterly flow off the Atlantic Ocean, which will increase humidity values through the week. Rain chances will be slight at around 30% for this afternoon and will continue to stay around 30% for the week. A moist, tropical airmass will make its way in from the Gulf of Mexico this weekend, increasing rain chances Saturday and Sunday.
