TALLAHASSEE (WTXL) - After a wet weekend, more showers and storms are expected heading into the beginning of your holiday week. No widespread severe weather is expected but a few of these storms could have some elevated wind gusts around 40 to 50 mph. The cold front passes this afternoon, but not before temps get to the mid and upper 70s. By tonight, conditions will remain muggy with temps in the 60s. Temps will be the warmest in the morning on Tuesday falling throughout the day to the mid 50s by Tuesday afternoon with more widespread showers. By Wednesday, expect the rainfall to finally come to an end as the newly formed low pressure system that blanketed us with rainfall on Tuesday drifts to the northeast. By the time all is said and done, another 2 to 3" of rain expected making our totals since Saturday peak around 4 to 6". Temps on Wednesday start off mild in the mid 40s and only get into the upper 50s for highs as a cool high pressure system sets up shop in the southeast. That'll keep things cool but dry for Thanksgiving with temps in the 30s in the morning and comfortably cool in the afternoon in the low 60s. Black Friday looks cold as well with temps near freezing when you're heading out for the big deals though we'll quickly climb back to the mid 60s by Friday afternoon. More sunshine and pleasant weather for the rest of your holiday weekend.
