MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...
Unusually warm conditions remain entrenched in the region for another couple of days before a late-week front returned a taste to winter to the area. Lows tonight will fall into the 60s with scattered clouds, occasional clear sky, and pre-dawn fog. The upper high responsible for the warm spell will begin to loosen its grip later Tuesday, but not before producing one more afternoon with highs in the upper 70s and lower 80s. A stray shower is possible in the southeast Big Bend in particular. The sky will be partly cloudy for the next couple of afternoons before the front causes more clouds Thursday with higher shower chances. A burst of colder air arrives just ahead of the New Year's weekend. Temps rebound some by New Year's Day.
