MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...
A cold front lurking in the north-central Florida peninsula is still close enough to trigger spotty showers and storms, mainly near the Big Bend coast and the Suwannee River. Winds inland are coming from the north, which will limit how far north these areas of rain can go, so evening rain and thunder chances will remain in the southern half of the region. Scattered clouds will be seen elsewhere, with breaks of clearer sky in the Flint River area. Lows tonight will be near 70° north to the mid 70s south. Tuesday rain activity will be focused on the state line region and points south as the cold front dissipates and moisture remains adequate. Highs will be in the mid 80s to around 90°. Southeast winds by later this week with return moisture to the entire region, elevating the coverage of developing showers and thunder once again.
