MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- More cool mornings and warm afternoons are expected for the week ahead with dry air allowing for clear conditions. But first, the passage of a cold front will help to increase cloudiness on Tuesday. High pressure will dominate most of the week into Friday and the clearing it will cause will support cooler than average mornings, but warmer than average afternoons. Into the weekend, another reinforcing front may help to cool off afternoons further.

Overnight lows into Tuesday morning will hover around 60 degrees. The reason why they aren't expected to be as cold as Monday morning is because the winds likely wont be as calm, and they'll have a southerly component to them. This will help increase moisture at the surface which promotes less cooling. Highs Tuesday afternoon will likely range in the lower to mid 80s. Rain coverage will be around 20% in the evening as the front is not expected to move in until after sunset. Wednesday morning may see some showers early but clearing will dominate because of high pressure. Lows Wednesday morning are forecast to be in the upper 50s to near 60 degrees with highs in the mid 80s.

Thursday morning will feature another cold start with lower 50s expected as this colder high sets in. The cool lows continue into the weekend. A reinforcing front by the weekend will keep afternoon highs around 80 degrees with overnight lows still chilly. Fall weather lovers, rejoice.
