MIDWAY, Fl. (WTXL) -- A tropical air mass is approaching the area and the moisture it is bringing will help increase the possibility of rain for most of this week.
Tuesday morning is forecast to start off mild and humid with low temperatures ranging in the low to mid 70s. Closer toward the coast, these temperatures will likely be closer to 80 degrees to start off the morning. As we move into the afternoon, expect clouds to build and rain coverage to become more prominent after lunch time as east winds guide showers and storms from the First Coast toward the local area. High temperatures will likely be limited if cloud cover is more prominent above you, so the forecast calls for temperatures nearing 90 degrees, with above 90 degree readings if there is more sunshine. Rain coverage will be around 60%.
This forecast changes little in the way of temperatures and rain coverage with 50-60% rain through Friday, and highs struggling to surpass 90 degrees.
