MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...
Areas of clouds and occasional showers will stretch into the evening and nighttime hours. Most areas of rain have been light to moderate, with limited potential for sustained heavy rain. Activity will begin to wind down and shift to the southeastern Big Bend region early Tuesday, becoming further reduced during the day. Breaks of sunshine will allow for some drying in the afternoon. Overnight lows will drop to around 70°, then highs will rebound to the middle 80s. The frontal system creating the damp conditions will straddle the southernmost areas of our region, where slight chances for showers will remain through midweek. Elsewhere, we'll go partly cloudy with temperatures above average. A late-week cold front will renew rain chances by Friday, then push a drier and cooler air mass into the region over the weekend.
