High pressure will take the place of the very strong upper low that drove weekend severe weather, meaning quieter, less windy conditions are forecast overnight and Tuesday. Lows will be cooler in the 40s, and with full sunshine and shifting winds, we'll warm up toward 70° but not much higher for the afternoon. Wednesday will also be dry, but warmer, before a front Thursday generates clouds and showers, but no severe weather. The system will trigger a prolonged stretch of colder days, with passing clouds mixed with sun in the afternoons by the weekend.
