MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...
It’s been quite a switchover from the dreary unsettledness of last week to the brightness and warmth of the pattern so far this week. There won’t be any rapid changes in the patter, so more mostly clear skies and warm – even hot – afternoons will remain in the forecast scene. Overnight, with a clear sky and little wind, temps will fall a good 25 to 35 degrees from today’s highs down into the 50s for most areas. Then, with full sunshine and limited cloud cover Tuesday, we’ll soar right back to around 90° except at the shore. A strong high-pressure system over the Gulf will slowly move east later this week, continuing to block any storm systems from entering the region and keeping the ability of for formation of extra local cloudiness low.
