MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...

High pressure in the upper atmosphere will rule the pattern for the next few days, producing adequate amounts of sun, little to no rain activity, and temperatures way above average, perhaps getting close to records through the middle of the week.  The upper high will suppress extra cloud development and promote additional warming in the afternoons, so highs in the upper 80s to around 90° are well within reach Tuesday and Wednesday.  Overnight lows tonight will be in the mid 60s, with a few more low 60s toward Wednesday and Thursday mornings.  The high will be displaced by an apparently stronger trough which will force a cold front into the region around Friday, breaking the hot spell and creating a small rain chance before temperatures fall significantly over the weekend.
