Storm Team Monday evening forecast (5/27/2013)

Posted

A very reverent Memorial Day to you all. We are starting to get a bit more humid out there as winds shift off the Gulf of Mexico. Temperatures still staying quite warm getting into the low 90s this evening. After the sun sets, we'll see conditions cool but only down to the mid 60s. As the winds go calm and the air remains humid, expect some patchy fog to develop overnight. Give yourself a few extra minutes on the roadways if you are heading anywhere late tonight or before sunrise on Tuesday. Similar conditions persist on Tuesday, with the hot, hazy, humid conditions persisting. Temperatures stay in the low 90s all week with lows in the upper 60s Tuesday night through the next 7 days. Expect an isolated threat of an afternoon shower beginning on Wednesday persisting through Sunday. On Monday, we could see some scattered rainfall as a low pressure system advances to the north of the area.
