MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...
Persistent cloudiness lingers, but the duration of the overcast trend is reaching its final hours. The upper low-pressure disturbance responsible for the weekend cloud cover has pulled off the Florida First Coast, but existing cloud decks around the Southeast will maintain a lack of clear breaks. Spotty drizzle and light rain will become less identifiable through tomorrow, when, finally, enough drier air enters the atmosphere to allow a gradual increase in sunshine through the afternoon. Lows tonight will reach the low to mid 60s. Highs will range from the mid 70s in areas of leftover cloudiness to the low 80s in spots with earlier sunshine. Brightness will dominate the midweek time frame as morning temps remain coo, but afternoon readings rebound to the mid 80s. A chance for scattered clouds and isolated showers returns for the end of the week.
