An areas of high pressure is stretched from the western side of the Gulf of Mexico all the way to the east, draping the region in a mostly clear, warm mode. West winds are supporting the extra rise in daytime temperatures, well into the 80s. With the sky staying generally clear tonight, temps will fall after sunset, reaching somewhat cool levels by Tuesday at sunrise. Lows will reach the lower 50s. Sunshine and west winds will kick in again during the day and cause highs to climb back into the 80s. Rain chances will be at zero until a frontal system approaches by midweek; clouds will increase, and shower chances will follow by Thursday. The disturbance will hold temperatures back from reaching a very warm range, but sunlight will become more intermittent mixed with occasional shower chances.
