MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...
Upper-level high pressure off the east coast is supporting near-record high temperatures late today, but as the sun sets, the relatively dry air will cool quickly, leading to developing fog overnight which may become dense again. Low visibilities are possible for the morning rush hour with temperatures leveling off in the mid 50s for lows. The upper high shifts a bit to the east, but will remain close enough to hold off an approaching cold front for one more day while keeping highs above average in the mid and upper 80s. Wednesday will mark the transition back to seasonable readings with additional clouds and slight chances for a few showers, ending by late Thursday in most cases. End-of-week temperatures will dip into the 70s, with lows in the 40s in the upcoming weekend. Tropical Storm Hanna will hug the western shore of the Caribbean and will not have direct local impacts.
