Storm Team Monday evening forecast (05/15/2017)

MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...

The newest ridge of high pressure will support another hotter-than-average streak for afternoon highs, with abundant sunshine and not much promise for rain development through most of this work week.  Lows will fall toward 60° in many inland areas as the sky will be clear and the air mostly on the dry side with little to no wind.  Highs Tuesday range from the mid 80s right on the beach to the mid 90s across the interior.  Only a few clouds will form during the heating period of the daytime.  The upper high weakens by Friday, and an increase in moisture plus a nearby disturbance will provide a better opportunity for scattered, possibly numerous, showers and occasional thunderstorms around the weekend time frame.
