MIDWAY, Fl. (WTXL) -- Elevated chances of rain will stay through the work week as a very moist air mass moves in the area. With the heavy amounts of moisture in the low and mid levels of the atmosphere, we can expect coverage in the 50-60% range through Thursday. Afternoon highs will be limited, with forecast values in the low to mid 90s, different from the mid to upper 90s we have been accustomed to seeing this past month. In addition to the rain, some isolated storms could be strong to severe.
Specifically for Tuesday, morning lows all across the region will likely be in the mid 70s and highs are forecast to be in the mid 90s where rain starts later (Tallahassee and points east), with lower 90s and upper 80s west of that. Coastal areas are expected to see highs in the upper 80s.
