MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...
Temperatures will be warmer than average for the next couple of days, and perhaps even downright hot for late March, as high pressure moves south of the region tonight and tomorrow, placing the area in southwest and west winds. Limited amounts of moisture will support patchy fog overnight, and just a few scattered clouds for Tuesday afternoon, with no rain chances. Lows tonight will fall into the low to mid 50s, and highs will range from near 80° at the coast to the mid 80s inland. A cold front will scrape the region Wednesday, inducing more heat and a chance for pop-up thunderstorms, especially for the I-75 corridor in south Georgia. The front will be strong enough to lower temperatures back to average by Thursday afternoon.
