MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...

A cold front situated across the eastern third of the area has cast considerably cloudiness around the area, though most of the organized shower activity is departing to the east.  The combination of cold air and lingering moisture, plus a steady upper wind flow, will maintain layers of cloud cover overnight with spotty drizzle possible.  Temperatures should remain steady, or slowly falling to lows in the mid 40s interior south Georgia to lower 50s south.  Clearing will be slow to occur and confined to mostly western sections late Tuesday afternoon; therefore, not much warming is anticipated, with highs confined to the 50s.  A push of drier air will support more sun by Wednesday, then a minor front can create more clouds at times Thursday with a slim chance for a shower.  The upcoming Christmas weekend appears warmer with a partly cloudy sky.
