MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...
Warm and somewhat humid conditions have taken hold of the region on southerly winds. An unsettled set-up is lingering across the middle of the Deep South, and this has formed a band of rain paralleling Interstate 65 in Alabama. A portion of the rain action may move east into interior south Georgia, but local impacts from rain or thunderstorms this evening and tonight will remain limited. Scattered clouds will be common, with patchy fog developing early in the morning. Mild lows will only fall into the upper 50s. A mix and sun and clouds is forecast Tuesday with ongoing warm trends; highs will reach the low and mid 80s. By midweek, the stalled front to the northwest of us will get a nudge, and greater rain chances and coverage are likely by late Wednesday through Thursday morning. Partial clearing will occur afterwards with lower temperatures.
