MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...
Temperatures near 100° in some locations will back away from those heights as chances for afternoon showers and storms increase. A weak upper disturbance will approach from the west, helping to weaken the current upper high feature, and leading to a better opportunity to form additional late-day showers and thunder. A couple of storms could be briefly strong, and produce localized heavy rain. Lows tonight will be in the low to mid 70s, and highs tomorrow still have a chance to reach the low to mid 90s before any thunderstorms develop. A broader, stronger disturbance is forecast to impact the region later this week. A bit of drier air and a northerly wind may provide a bit of cooling relief for the end of the week and into the Father's Day weekend.
