MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...
The region will be nestled between a high-pressure system over the east-central Gulf and a stalled front in the Deep South. Our pattern will feature summer-ish heat-and-humidity combinations, with scattered clouds and even a few daytime showers or a storm thrown in for good measure. Overall coverage will be limited, though, until later this week when a stronger front attempts to push deeper into the tri-state region. Forecast lows tonight will fall to around 70°, and highs climb back into the lower 90s for most areas away from the shore. Severe storm concerns are very low, because of an absence of organized disturbances in the atmosphere around us.
