MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...
Lingering moisture and cloudiness, along with a brisk northerly wind, have kept temperatures chilly today. As a new source of drier air shoves into the region overnight, clouds will break, which will lead to higher amounts of sunshine for Tuesday. Temperatures will remain a bit on the colder side, as the north and northwest wind taps into a chilly air source from the north, which will be reinforced several times this week. Readings will remain near or below average for the rest of the week, but bitter-cold Arctic air should remain stuck in the far northern reaches of the continent. Tonight's lows will slowly slip into the lower 40s, with some upper 30s in deep south Georgia, while tomorrow's highs will gradually rise toward 60°.
