MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...
The warming trend is underway, with some areas reaching 70° this afternoon, but once the sun sets, temperatures will fall into chilly level. We'll avoid any freeze concerns tonight thanks in part to the milder afternoon; lows will fall to around 40° overnight with a mostly clear sky. A bit of patchy frost in possible just around sunrise in the coldest outlying areas. East to southeast winds will keep the warmer conditions in place for Tuesday, but the extra moisture can add a few scattered clouds to the sky as highs jump into the mid 70s. A modest front will approach by Thursday with our next best chance for a few showers, and then a return to cooler air. However, freezing temperatures or highs capped in the 50s are not in the foreseeable future.
