MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...

Nearby high pressure and a northwest wind are helping to limit storm development across the region, keeping development confined to the lower Suwannee valley and along the coastal zones.  Areas of clear sky will occur late tonight as temperatures stay warm, with lows in the mid 70s.  Isolated to widely scattered showers and storms will form on Independence Day afternoon, and likely fade by early evening.  Highs will be hot in the mid 90s away from the beaches.  Evening temperatures tomorrow will fall into the mid and lower 80s with a clearing trend.  High pressure will weaken toward the end of the week, allowing for more scattered shower and thunderstorm development by the weekend.
