MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...

Tonight won't be as cold as the weekend because of a slight southeast wind flow around the departing high-pressure system.  A few clouds are possible overnight, which will help hold nighttime temps in the 40s.  Additional clouds are likely Tuesday afternoon with an approaching frontal system into the Southeast.  The highs will peak in the upper 60s and lower 70s with the sky becoming mostly cloudy. We're unlikely to experience major rain development locally before sunset, but a few showers can form before sunrise.  Wednesday appears generally cloudy and damp with an isolated thunderstorm.  Severe weather expectations are quite low.  Temperatures will fall once again, but the depth of the chill should not be as extreme as the chill of the weekend just past.  In the long-range, we may be able to extend a warming trend, with a few days of above-average readings heading into next week.
