Storm Team Monday evening forecast (09/02/2013)

Posted
and last updated

Showers and thunderstorms started moving inland earlier this afternoon and will continue to push towards the NE throughout the rest of the evening. After sunset most of the showers and storms will fizzle out and we will be left with warm sticky night. Temps will only fall into the mid 70s.

Tomorrow morning there is a chance for some dense patchy fog out on the roadways so keep that in mind if you are heading out early. Most of the fog should burn off by 9:00 am.

Tomorrow afternoon scattered showers and storm will pop up throughout the day (there is a 40% chance). Otherwise, the day will warm up into the 90s with high humidity values making temperatures feel more like the triple digits.

This summer-like trend will continue all week.
