The pre-summer scorcher is set to continue for at least one more day, with little change in the current weather pattern. Additional moisture and a slight weakening in the atmosphere, along with the daytime seabreeze, all are combining to allow a slim chance for a developing shower or storm. That same chance exists tomorrow afternoon. Lows tonight will fall into the mid to upper 60s, and highs Tuesday may reach the mid 90s again away from the beaches. Eventually, a slow-moving cold front will lurk off to the west, helping to bring a better chance for scattered afternoon and evening showers and storms back into the area and forcing high temperatures to be a couple of degrees cooler.
