MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...
With a few occasional breaks possible, the evening will feature excessive cloudiness with an abundance of moisture in our region of the atmosphere, and an upper flow that will keep the weather pattern unsettled for the next couple of days. A relatively minor disturbance overnight will streak across the interior of the tri-state zone, triggering passing showers and rain. The main focus of the rain will be north of the state line, but passing scattered showers are still possible near the coast. Rain coverage may reach its peak before midday Tuesday. In the meantime, northerly winds will push lows to around 50°, and lingering cloud cover in the afternoon will keep highs shy of 60° in most areas. Wednesday, a more-potent system will traverse the Deep South, using available moisture and movement to cause greater rain coverage and a chance for a couple of thunderstorms before some clearing happens by Thursday.
