MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...
Bountiful moisture supply along with a brisk south wind will support areas of clouds and a few showers or storms this evening. Coverage of storms will be limited and mainly confined to areas near around around the Flint River Valley, with lighter passing showers elsewhere. A separate area of storm activity in the Mississippi Valley will influence local rain and storm development Tuesday morning, with chances for a few of the storms to cause gusty winds and isolated cases of severe weather. Periods of heavy rain are possible in many areas through Wednesday afternoon, when a second front will sweep through and kick off a drying trend for the last half of the week. Lows tonight will be in the low 70s, and highs Tuesday will be suppressed to around 80° depending on cloud cover and rain coverage. The low-end severe weather risk of damaging gusts and an isolated tornado will continue into Wednesday’s action as well.
